On May 16, 2013, the RCMP Foundation awarded $10,000 to support Cst. Steve Beck’s programs for aboriginal kids in the Northwest Territories. Based out of Hay River, Beck’s programs teach kids about how to hunt, trap, and live in a traditional way. Beck has been running these programs for the past seventeen years, and plans to use the funding to support future camp programs.
